Our Philosophy
“Play gives children a chance to practice what they are learning.”
— Mr. Rogers
Learning through play.
Our program’s focus is on the individual growth of each child through a developmentally appropriate, child-centered approach that involves children making choices and learning through exploration, experimentation, and hands-on experiences.
Families and children of all cultures and abilities enhance our program, providing opportunities for children to learn about and appreciate differences.
Program Goals:
To develop children's cognitive, physical, social, and emotional growth, while preparing for Kindergarten.
To provide young children with a safe and meaningful first educational experience away from home.
To help children grow in trust toward adults other than those at home.
To help children learn to interact and negotiate with each other and to be sensitive to feelings, interests and needs of others.
To help children develop good feelings about themselves and confidence in their abilities.
